Procurement and Tenders Engineering Intern

My internship at C.A.T. Group, from July to August, I had the opportunity to work in the Head Quarter office in Beirut within the Proposals and Tenders Department (PTD). My internship enrolled in the Pipeline Department. C.A.T. Group, also known as Contracting and Trading (C.A.T.) Group, is a prominent EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Projects) contractor with a strong presence in the oil and gas industry.
Throughout the internship, I gained valuable experience in understanding and applying the standards of the Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Aramco) (per example: SAES (L-H-O-X-Z-…) etc…), focusing on the design, laying, coating, and maintenance of pipelines. In the Pipeline Department, my responsibilities include performing Take-Offs (TO) such as Crossing of the pipeline and calculating cut and fills of trenches—key activities that support the bidding process of pipeline construction.
